PeerFactor HD (High speed Downloading) is a new service that helps webmasters distribute content on their web site.

How it works ?

Only modify your links this way :
http://peerfactor.fr/get_file.jsp?URL='your original link'.

If the file is downloaded only few times. The website users are redirected to your original link without seeing PeerFactor site.

If the file is downloaded a lot of times. Our system detect the increase traffic and redirect users to PeerFactor HD proposing a simple and fast P2P download (The software is never installed but only runned) .

Activation :

To use PeerFactor HD,we need to add your site to our autorized list sites. We send site validation generally within 24H.

Example :

A file with a lot of traffic -> P2P download :
http://peerfactor.fr/get_file.jsp?URL=http://www.kelforum.com/Trailer_Jean_Philippe.wmv

A file with not a lot of traffic -> Direct http download :
http://peerfactor.fr/get_file.jsp?URL=http://www.kelforum.com/Trailer_Jean_Philippe2.wmv

For both files, you get download stats calling http://peerfactor.fr/get_stats.jsp?URL="original URL". (updated every 24 hours)

Option : Only stats (no P2P support) :

P2P=off	There is no Peer to Peer download. We only generate download stats.

Free : use a P2P architecture so it's a possible to offer this service for free.

Simple : only a small link update needed.
